Time Flies - Six Weeks Already?

I feel as though time should have stopped, or at least slowed down (I'm sure that all new parents feel the same) but instead it speeds up and by the time I vaguely hear about an election roaring round Iowa or the New Years festivities, I find I am much more interested in the subject of my last 500+ pictures, my last 20,000 kisses, and his outgrown newborn sleepers. It is hard to believe it has been six weeks, but oh my goodness what a magical six weeks! The picture at the top is my favorite - he was smiling at me!!

For your viewing pleasure, the results of the rest of the photo shoot - I couldn't stop! James Pearson has more expressions in two minutes that most people have in two hours: (Captions below the pictures of what he's saying...yes, we communicate well!)

Oh no! Mom's camera found me... again!
Oh fine, I know it makes you happy...snap away...
I'll laugh, just for you.
Hey, this isn't so bad! Are you my mother?
Then I'll show you my dimple, because you keep making that funny face.
Wow, is this really what makes you so happy? Maybe you need to get out more...
Hmm, I'll just think about that for a minute...
Well, I've actually decided I like having you here...you look kind of like me...
Tummy time!! I am getting so strong!

I finally learned how to take a binky and keep it in...most of the time...
I love my new sweater - I feel so manly...
I'm a little young to suntan Mom...
Kisses for the sweet....me and my dad....
My daddy makes me feel so safe...and my fist is delicious!
This is how my mom spends most of her day...
Yeah, we're pretty good friends...me and my mommy.
I didn't realize how big he was until I saw a two-week old at church...wow, they weren't kidding when they said it goes fast.
